"Has lots of 'features', but that alone is not the whole story. "
"gnuCash is difficult to install as it asks questions I have no answer and the online documentation says little or nothing. The user interface is terrible - something out of the 90's. The reports are counter intuitive and don't look very good. There is no home page that gives on the total view of their finances. "

This is a program that is technically competent, but is too difficult to use. It needs a lot of improvements, but I don't see that happening. Best to shell out some $$ and get a well supported/documented commercial application. Life is too short to spend a lot of time on software just because it is free.
