"Zoom - An exceptional tool to be connected with team around the world" - Rakesh S

Zoom has been a very effective communication tool for our internal team. Client communication would happen on Zoom every day and it was crystal clear in making it more effective deals through zoom calls |
Need to improve notification and increase the sharing capacity online. Recording should be improved to make it better. |
has become a way of life for businesses and personal use. It is not just company team meetings and one-on-ones, but grandmothers, book clubs, churches, and just about everyone and every organization now use video to connect. Zoom has emerged as the leader in the video conferencing industry. When the stay-at-home orders came in 2020, we all had to learn video conferencing on the fly. The primary reason Zoom dominated is because it is easier to use than traditional video conferencing platforms that have a bunch of hoops to jump through. With Zoom, anyone with a browser can use it. When teams, families, and other groups were forced to collaborate remotely, it was the easiest way to connect. |

It is easy to use and accessible through a web browser or mobile appIt integrates well with other Google apps like Calendar and GmailIt supports up to 250 participants in a callIt has a variety of features such as screen sharing, recording, and live captions It is compatible with various devices and platforms, including Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. |
It is not as feature-rich as other video conferencing platforms like ZoomIt is not always reliable in terms of connection stability and call qualityThe free version has time limits on meetingsThe enterprise version can be expensive for some organizations. |
Google Meet has a variety of security measures in place to protect the privacy of conversations and prevent uninvited guests from joining meetings. This makes it a reliable and secure choice for professional use. |
Google Meet could be improved. Here are a few potential areas for improvement:Adding more advanced features: While Google Meet has a variety of useful features, some users may want more advanced options, such as the ability to record meetings or to customize the layout of the interface.Improving audio and video quality: While the audio and video quality of Google Meet is generally good, there may be times when the connection is not as strong, which can impact the quality of the call.Expanding platform support: Currently, Google Meet is only available on certain platforms, such as Android and iOS. Expanding support to more platforms, such as Linux or Windows Phone, could make the platform more accessible to a wider range of users. |

"a great time saver" - Tiela Chalmers

It's so easy to upload and then to change documents to a committee or board packet. |
The Zoom interface needs some work, so that you can move around the OnBoard platform while on Zoom. |
Ease of use and simplicity is its strongest feature. I manage 10 boards and committees within our organization and OnBoard has improved consistency and communication across all our entities. The implementation and training of new users is seamless; people of all demographics adapted to the software and way of meetings very quickly. It is also great to be able to update agendas or meeting materials in real time and the voting feature allows us to be productive in-between meetings. |

Very intuitive. It's stripped back and simple while still having all the features you need for a big online event. It's also incredibly reasonably priced. |
Speakers required a bit of hand-holding to navigate the admin. |
Arena is really simple to use, especially for virtual events newbies likes me. It's super flexible, with options to customise each event and change the design, fonts etc. to suit company branding so it feels more professional than other platforms like Zoom etc. It got excellent feedback from attendees, who particularly enjoyed the breakout sessions. |

"My Experience with Nextiva" - Arnie Francisco
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
I like Nextiva because it is very easy to use. It is Cost Effective compared to other VOIP providers and they have a better recording portal. |
The part where you really have to call their Support to assist you in onboarding process. Nothing on their dashboard where you can do it yourself. Nothing in there where you can delete a line and request to adjust an invoice. Everything has to be over the phone. But mind you, they have better customer service dept. Staff are friendly. |
