Appointment of Aude Accary-Bonnery as Deputy General Director
The Paris Opera announces the appointment of Aude Accary-Bonnery as Deputy General Director of the Paris Opera as of March 3, 2025. She succeeds Martin Ajdari, who has been appointed President of ARCOM (Autorité de régulation de la communication audiovisuelle et numérique) as of February 2, 2025.
Aude Accary-Bonnery is a graduate of the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris, the Université Paris II - Panthéon Assas and the École nationale d'administration (ENA).
Aude Accary-Bonnery began her career at the French Ministry of Culture's Media Development Department (now the Media and Cultural Industries Department), where she was in charge of public broadcasting.
She then spent 5 years at the UK Department for Culture, Media and Sport, working on audiovisual issues, followed by film and video games.
In 2011, she was appointed Deputy Director and then Finance and Legal Director of the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée. In 2014, she joined the cabinet of the French Minister of Culture and Communication as advisor in charge of cinema and audiovisual affairs.
In April 2016, she was appointed head of the financial and general affairs department of the Ministry of Culture, then deputy director general of the CNC in charge of strategy and control in January 2018, and deputy secretary general of the ministry since October 2020.
