After graduating from the University of Strasbourg I with a DEA in Management Sciences, Christian Rodrigue Moungoungou began his musical training in Alsace and then in Lyon, where he obtained his singing diploma at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon in 2005. He has participated in numerous festivals, including Aix-en-Provence in 2002, Salzburg and Schleswig-Holstein in 2004.
His rich operatic repertoire includes the roles of Valentin (Faust), Germont (La Traviata), Zurga (Les Pêcheurs de perles), Scarpia (Tosca), Albert (Werther), Escamillo (Carmen), Marcello (La Bohème), Don Carlo di Vargas (La Force du destin), the Four Devils (Les Contes d'Hoffmann)...
In concert, his solo repertoire includes oratorios with various Bach cantatas, Mozart and Fauré requiems, Carl Orff's Carmina Burana and numerous masses. Since September 2005, Christian Rodrigue Moungoungou has been a titular chorister at the Opéra national de Paris.
